Parent Teacher Organization

Hunters Bend Elementary is very proud of having an active Parent-Teacher Organization. Every parent is enrolled as a member of the PTO and there are no membership dues.  Our PTO offers a variety of ways for parents to become involved. It is through the dedicated efforts of our parents that Hunters Bend has many needed “extras,” including our technology tools for students and professional development materials for the staff.

The PTO runs several major fundraisers throughout the year which help raise money for campus enhancements, laptops, Smart Boards for the classrooms, landscaping, start-up supply money and curriculum for teachers, and many other items used to enhance our school and support the educational needs of our students.  PTO volunteers also assist with the sale of packaged school supplies, Spirit Wear, Teacher Appreciation Week, and the collection of Box Tops for Education.
