A Message from Principal Krista Kraemer
Hello and welcome to Hunters Bend Elementary! We are the home of the Hound Dogs and take great pride in both our students and our staff. HBES is a tight-knit community and has been a home for so many since 1995. While I have been the principal since July 2023, we have many staff members who have served Hunters Bend for well over 20 years! Hunters Bend is a school where students are encouraged to be well-balanced individuals and we focus on both academic and character development. Students enjoy exploring and growing their interests in areas that include choir, running, jump rope, sustainability, arts, safety patrol, and student council.
Prior to becoming a Hound Dog, I taught 1st and 4th grades and was a math coach and an assistant principal. My first four years were spent in Nashville, and I have had the privilege of living in and serving the students and families of Williamson County since 2014. I believe that education changes lives and I am devoted to working alongside families to ensure the success of every one of our students!
